About me:
Hello and welcome! My name is Sandra Vuilleumier, I am a communication specialist and writer living in Switzerland. I am half Swiss, half Greek, and am a bilingual French and English speaker. I also speak Spanish, German, Greek, and some Japanese.
I spent my childhood in California and the first part of my career in London, first as a Research Analyst at Chambers & Partners Legal Directory, then as a Prospect Research Officer at Queen Mary University of London. I later worked at the Laboratory for Timber Contructions (IBOIS) a part of the Swiss Federal Polytechnical School (EPFL). When I am not working, you can find me photographing or in the great outdoors.
My current professional interest lies in mastering AI tools such as ChatGPT and combining them with the experience of a skilled communication specialist, thus leveraging them to increase my effectiveness. An example of this type of work lies in this website, which I built in record time with the valuable assistance of AI.
Crafting an effective and impactful message hinges upon several key factors. My diverse range of international job experiences, have shown me that elements such as style, visual identity, and timing play pivotal roles in shaping how a message is received and embraced. Being absolutely passionate about communication and writing, I decided to set up this website to present my vision, past achievements, ongoing projects, and of course, my skills and talents in these areas.
